This article is a well written example of why I, and many others, call for a return to the foreign policy of our nation's founding. A "NON-interventionist" foreign policy. Of course, as the author notes, many of today's "conservatives" like to scream, holler, and jump up and down and call us "Isolationists" whenever we dare bring up the subject of U.S. empire or meddling in others affairs. But, like Inigo Montoya (Mandy Patinkin) said, in The Princess Bride, "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
