I speak often of intellectual consistency and intellectual honesty. It is one thing to err unintentionally, but quite another to knowingly, and purposely, promote and support conflicting viewpoints. This is especially egregious if one is in a position of power or if you are someone who supports and votes for such people.
While both ends of the political spectrum have their problems with these issues it would appear that with their ascension to national power of late, liberals are especially faulty with their consistency and, dare I say, logic. The same people who want you to believe that they care about human life (See gun control and Covid response) are the same people who applaud laws making abortions, even POST BIRTH abortions (murder/infanticide) legal and easier to obtain. Hell, they even use your tax money to fund those abortions, both domestically and in foreign countries.
These same liberals have a long record of complaining about the World's population being too large. We use too many resources, because of too many people, thus we must "reduce" our population. A big proponent, and liberal darling, of this mindset is one Bill Gates. Ask countries where his previous efforts at vaccines have been implemented what they think of Bill Gates. If you dare, go on YouTube and look for Gates making speeches about reducing the World population. They are out there.
Joe Biden has appointed to his "Covid Response Team" Ezekial Emmanuel. This man has said that he thinks people over 75-years of age should "get out of the way and make room for the strong.' Again, you can find his quotes with a brief search. What does he mean by that? Well, what do you think he means? Virginia Governor Ralph Northam spoke on the radio about his efforts to have babies killed after....AFTER....birth, as long as the mother and the doctors agree. He was applauded, nay, lionized, by his fellow liberals for supporting such efforts.
If the media is to be believed then we should be concerned about the resurgence of Covid-19 in India, where thousands more are dying in that overly populated country. The media and our pols want us to send vaccines, money, help, and support to......."save lives." Well why are those lives more important than our elderly or our newborns? And if they are dying in mass numbers wouldn't you think that liberals would be pleased at the population reduction? Bill Gates himself has spoken about including "birth control" in the vaccines he has invested in, so certainly he should be pleased at the results in India.
This all brings us back to my opening about intellectual consistency and honesty. What's it going to be liberals? Should we care about human life? ALL human life? Or do we get to pick and choose who gets to die and who shouldn't? You might want to sit down and take some time to contemplate that question.
